Getting started
No. You can convert as a guest in your browser. Creating a free account unlocks your dashboard, credits, and subscription options with higher limits. Create an account when you are ready.
Open the home converter, a specific format page (for example JPG to PNG), or the compressor. Upload your file, choose the output format or compression tool, click Convert or Compress, then download the result when processing finishes.
Convert changes file format (for example PNG to JPG or MP4 to MP3). Compress keeps the same format but reduces file size—for PDFs, photos, video, audio, archives, and more.
Converting & compressing
We support hundreds of conversion pairs across images, video, audio, documents, ebooks, and archives—including JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, MP4, MKV, MP3, PDF, DOCX, EPUB, ZIP, and many more. Each tool page lists the formats it accepts.
Yes. The home converter and compressor support multiple files in one batch. All files in a batch must share the same extension (for example, all PDF). You can remove individual files from the queue before you start.
Batch jobs require one file type at a time. Remove mismatched files from the queue, or run separate batches for each extension.
Most jobs finish in seconds to a few minutes, depending on file size, format, and server load. Large video or document jobs can take longer. The progress bar updates while your file uploads and processes.
Confirm the file is not corrupted (open it locally first). Check that you are within size and daily limits. Try a smaller file or a different output format if one is available. If the error persists, contact us with the filename, formats, and error message.
Downloads & privacy
Uploaded and converted files are stored temporarily and automatically deleted after about 8 hours. Download your results promptly—links expire after the retention window.
Files are uploaded to our servers only to run the job you requested. We do not sell personal data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Files are removed on a fixed schedule. Do not upload content you need us to retain—keep your own backup after download.
Tools under Utilities (word counter, JSON formatter, and similar) run locally in your browser and do not upload your text. Converters, compressors, and media tools upload files for processing.
Limits & accounts
Guests and registered users without credits or an active subscription get 5 completed conversions per day (guest limits are tracked by IP). After that, sign up, buy credits, or subscribe for more.
Limits depend on your plan. Without a subscription, the default cap is 100 MB per file. Paid plans allow larger files and more daily conversions—see Pricing for current plan limits.
Credits are pay-as-you-go balance for conversions when you are not on a subscription. Most jobs cost at least 1 credit; some document conversions cost more, and long jobs add credits based on processing time (1 credit per minute, minimum 1). Buy credits on the Pricing page.
Subscriptions raise your daily conversion count and max file size for the billing period. Some plans also include a monthly conversion-time allowance. Manage your plan from your Account page.
Billing & account
Use Register. An account lets you track jobs, buy credits, and subscribe.
Go to Pricing. Credit checkout requires login; subscriptions are billed through Stripe.
From Account, cancel auto-renewal. You keep plan benefits until the end of the current billing period.
Logged-in users can download invoices from Account → Invoices.
Email us via Contact with your account email and approximate purchase time. We will look up the order.
Troubleshooting
Check that the file extension matches the tool, the file is not empty, and you are under the size limit. Try another browser or disable extensions that block file uploads.
Links are removed after the 8-hour retention window. Re-run the conversion if you still have the source file.
Protected or rights-managed files may fail. Remove protection locally first if you have the legal right to do so.
Guest and limited free daily use remain available. Heavy use requires credits or a subscription as described on Pricing.
